I didn't know either the nickname mums for the Chrysanthemums, this is so sweet and I wonder if this is an invention of your mom or if other people do call them like that...if someone english can answer that..😊

Love your special cat..so cute! 💖Thanks so much @barbara-orenya!! The millstones were used in mills to grind grains for flours. I did think about Maryland but couldn't find a photo that I was happy with to represent it. Most places around here refer to the flower as mums. I guess it is easier to shorten the word..lol.
