Oh! I've been in Viens. Many years ago. I love that area and remember going to the ochre quarries in Rustrel.
Oooh...how cool is that ?!? We have been in the same places in France, I love that ! this is so funny that you know Viens as this is a minuscule village...
I visited it two times at different years, as it is very special place, and I just found this picture back that shows nothing of the medieval city ...😄
We went to the ochre quarries too, and now that you mention it, I wonder if you didn't make a post on Tsu about them...? It might be you or someone else but I remember pictures...If it's you, you might make a post about it...? 😊
Judith from the Netherlands posted a lot of photos from the Quarry, It was something I had in common with her and caused us to become friends. I will do a post about the Quarries. I may have posted about it before, but it was years ago. I will do more travel posts about France. I have a lot of photos I have never used before and lots of good memories that I could share... Even though it was now 15 years ago since my last visit.
