The festive celebration of Chinese New Year is coming to an end soon. Today is already the 12th day. The whole celebration lasts for 15 days.
Today is Sunday, so as usual, my family attended church and I took opportunity to let us wear Chinese style clothes, except for my daughter though.
However I still managed to match with her.
I took photos with my boys whose attire was a great deal that I got. RM12 for one set, can you believe that? I love the material which is very cooling too.
My mum in law took a nice photo with the secondborn who overnighted at her place while waiting for us.
My boys and their bffs from church took very funny but happy photos together, same age for both firstborns and secondborns.
While attending to this little one, I was listening to the sermon about Mary and Martha, about waiting for the Lord and not be in anxiety. If we do face anxiety and it arises in us which is so easy and common in our age, we need to exchange it with Jesus.
The daughter was playing with grandma while I took a short break. She needs a lot of attention and strength to play with these days because she is very active so we needed to take turns.
More photos with some good friends that do life together with and being great support to one another.
Came home after packing lunch and took more photos of the daughter because she looked so lovely in this outfit.
All of us took a nap. The girl napped 3 hours and I have prepared early dinner for the boys and myself so we could attend a dinner gathering at a friend's place at night. Though food was served, I wanted to cut down my mental load when we are around people and cut down nagging them around others. So I decided that all of us ate our dinner before we joined the rest. The boys ate fast because going to their friends' place was a great motivation.
I was very worried I could not handle the boys and baby alone by myself. My helpful friends of course helped me a lot and they also cheered me when I finally arrived with the 3 of them.
It was a scrumptious dinner spread by the host and family.
We also took opportunity to celebrate the birthdays of the 3 men. Blessing them with Gods blessings and wisdom.
We had to leave by 9pm. My two boys were sad to part with their friends but they still cooperated with me. We reached home, showered and wind down.
Want to thank the host of tonight's gathering for surprising me with a photo merging my current family of 5 with my own family photo that I could not be a part of, because we did not return to Kuching this year for reunion. Honestly I felt very sad because I could not be there but this friend did her "magic touch" and gifted me this today. It made me almost cry in church.
