I was scrolling my photos and I noticed I had not penned down a moment of eating out together to celebrate our friend's birthday. She is also the worship leader at our church, very anointed yet a humble lady. As a person, she is really worth being celebrated. A smart lady, with a big beautiful heart. We brought her to a famous fish head noodle house for lunch. This is a throwback post as it happened last year.
Lunch at Woo Pin
This shop is a house-turned-into-cafe which I blogged about before in more details. However, now, I am just going to blog about us and what we ate.
This shop is so famous that every day the queue is there. Good food and cheap price, why not? It is worth the time queueing and waiting. Here we were queueing. It didn't take very long as we arrived earlier than usual lunch time.
We were sitting at the living hall of the house, you could still see the old-days house designs, with many old items display too. One step into the shop, you smelled super fragrant pastry smell coming from the baking of egg tarts. If you love egg tarts, you should not miss this one.
I ordered fish paste noodle because I was really lazy to deal with fish bones if I ordered the fresh fish one. And one specialty here is their fish broth which was really boiled for hours till creaminess came out from fish bones. According to what people recommended, the creamy milky broth was 100% from fisb bones, and no evaporated milk added. Super super delicious. I drank the whole bowl of fish soup. Yums!
The coffee was veryyyyy good too!
I could not remember what my friend and my husband ordered, but I had a photo of fresh fish slices noodle soup here.
We also ordered a fish cake and also a plate of deep fried fish skin. So crispy and delicious.
Here to many more years of friendship while witnessing the goodness of God showers in your life, and how He answers the desires of your heart, Michi!
Drink at Ali, Muthu, Ah Hock
The day was still early that we could walk around the vicinity and took some street photos. Later on, we stopped by a restaurant called Ali, Muthu, Ah Hock to quench our thirst with none other than our famous Malaysians drink, 'teh tarik'. Only my husband and I ordered drink, Michi was still very full. We had some time of catching up and chitchatting before we made our way home.
My friend and I also walked around to take some photos here at this restaurant.
One year passed so fast, many things had changed in the world and in our country, but the goodness and the love of God remains the same. We are very grateful for this friend of ours who always stand by us in all of our ups and downs. We pray that whatever her hands lay upon and whatever her feet treads on, all will prosper and may the favour of God is always with her. We know God will answer the desire of her heart. Cheers of doing life together!
