What it feels like to be on top

in Feel Good7 days ago

Being on top of a building allows you to see things in a macroscopic view. It's our daily reminder that the world is still so vast and we haven't experience everything yet. City lights are most beautiful at night. But it has a different kind of beauty during the day too.

This is by far my favorite spot, a view from the 52nd floor at Horizon's 101, where you can literally see the whole city. In the upper side of the picture is the CCLEX, the longest bridge in the Philippines. All the other buildings that are considered tall can be seen like a miniature in this photo.

This is my daily view at our office pantry, from the 9th floor of the Oakridge building. Sometimes the utility people covers the window with blinds and I still have to unroll the blinds to see you this view. Our office is very accessible to the gym, grocery store, and restaurants. Like I've said, there are some city view that is better during the day, specifically during sunset. I have yet to see sunrise in our office, though.

Another favorite city view of mine is from Misto restaurant at Seda Hotel. This space captures the view like a scene from a digital game. Plus, the restaurant is located right across the Ayala Central Bloc Mall.

Whenever I need a breather, I always love to see these kinds of view because it allows me to think and remind myself that my problems are just a spec of dust in this vast surroundings. It's both humbling and mystical experience.

In contrary, I don't like the rooftop view as I'm afraid of heights. Being on a glass window is enough to suffice my amazement.

That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!

Sending some love and light

With love, Ja
