“Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all.”

Amore
Last Sunday, I went to an Italian pastry and ice cream shop called Da' Rosetta, located in a small place in the east of the city within walking distance of my mother's house.
I did not know it personally, however, I had seen some publications on social networks with very good reviews from their customers, in addition, my sister recommended it widely to our mother and me, so I encouraged to go and try their products.
Although the exterior facade of the premises does not stand out among the multiple commercial establishments located in the area, the truth is that its interior is quite the opposite; with colorful walls, an eclectic decor that combines modern furniture with a classic style sofa, and what most attracts the attention of those who go there, a wall where they welcome and briefly describe the short history of this gastronomic venture inspired by the recipes of the “nonna”, Italian word that serves to designate the grandmother of a family.
In their menu, in addition to ice cream of different flavors, there are the classic tiramisu and filled cannolis, but also some products that I did not know and with almost unpronounceable names, as is the case of the sfogliatelle, also known as lobster tail and that resembles a flaky croissant filled with nutella, chocolate or pastry cream, according to the preferences of the diners.
They also have a kind of pie called sbriciolata, with a shortcrust pastry base and different toppings, in my case I ordered a pistachio to go, which I have no complaints, both for its freshness and crunchiness, as well as for its delicate flavor.
Finally, I bought a cannoli and a sfogliatelle for my mother, who could not accompany me that day because of some health problems due to her age, and who is the nonna or grandmother of six grandchildren, including my two sons who live in a different city from mine, and who I am completely sure would have enjoyed the Sunday evening.

Wow, I liked it's ambience though exterior is not too attractive but the interior looks so welcoming and beautiful. :)
