Last Saturday, two of my colleagues had their birthdays, one from my team and the other, our pricing manager. Honestly, work has been so busy this month that we hardly get time to relax or chat, and since Saturday is a half-day, time just flies by. I found out about the birthdays a bit late, but I wished both of them, and then we all decided to order a cake together.
Since salaries hadn't been disbursed yet, I didn’t contribute, but the rest of the team pitched in and got a nice cake. My teammate had to leave early, so he missed out on the celebration. Now, talking about the other birthday person, he’s a special guy in our company. We jokingly call him "the boss's son," but he takes it well and isn’t bothered by the nickname. This lighthearted humor is common in our office, and since we spend so much time together, we understand each other well. It's like our second family.
Mohsin, the birthday boy and our pricing manager, has an amazing personality. He’s calm, cool, and handles discussions and meetings really well. He gels with everyone, and he is famous for his "interest-free lunch loan" hahaha. He’s very supportive, loyal to the company, and a good friend, which is why we jokingly call him "the boss's son." So, happy birthday to him!
Now, let’s talk a bit about the Hyderabadi cake. Normally, we’d order an ice cake, but last time, we tried Hyderabadi cake, and everyone loved it, so we ordered it again this time. The cake is quite unique, it’s filled with dry fruits and tastes amazing. I ate a lot of it, and I really enjoyed it. You can see in the picture how good it looks, just looking at it makes you want to eat it.
I highly recommend trying Hyderabadi cake. If you don’t have it available where you are, try looking up a recipe and making it yourself. Believe me, you’ll enjoy it a lot.
