I had the chance to see the big parols of each barangay in our municipality last night when I went to the park with Mama, which I couldn't see during our last visit because of the number of people who attend. There's just a lot, that moving to one parol to another will really take a lot of time. And to be honest, I thought our plan last night would be postponed too, because it rains heavily accompanied by a strong wind.
And I thought wouldn't be able to take a photos again of those Parols, Luckily, the rain didn't last long, and I thought again, we were given a chance to go outside. And so we grabbed the opportunity, but just to make sure, I brought my umbrella with me. I also wear a hoody and my cap, of course. My throat is a little itchy already, and I have a cough too, so I don't want it to get worse, so doing that much preparation is nothing.
We started our walk at 5:50 pm, and we decided to take another route. Before, we often took the one near the highway, but Mama wanted to see the Palanyag which is why we took a different route because that route would take us there faster. It's just near the PUP, where I attended college before. We even pass by some college students. And just like that, a few minutes of walking and we already reach our destination.
And look how many people visit here every night, and as the night goes deeper, people will also start flooding the park. The park is big, so it can accommodate a lot of people. Aside from the Christmas Villages, the big and tall Parol is one of the attractions here. Everyone is taking selfies or group photos here and there, and it's a lovely sight. What I loved to see in here was the whole family, enjoying the park and the Pailaw. And when they'll take photos of their child, who's also enjoying every fun thing in the park.
Anyways, about the big Parol, there's 14 Parol lined up in front of the Municipal Hall. And because I took them at the back, I am not sure which barangay each Parol belongs to, lol. But some Parol has a caption to which barangay it belongs, but there's none too. But well, that's not really important. What's important is their design and how people love each of them. Starting with our very own, Barangay Poblacion. That's my barangay. The design is really different from last year. It's simple, but I think it's pretty. Same with Barangay Proper Tiguisan. It's pretty, and the color is so Christmassy. I mean, all of them are. What do you think?
Next are Villa Pagasa and Rosacara. Seriously, I haven't visited these two barangays in our municipality. I'm from here, but there's a lot of places I haven't visited yet, lol. Anyways, their design is pretty too, but I think Villa Pagasa is prettier because of those detailed designs on the corner. But Rosacara is not bad either, they have uniqueness that differs from each other. What do you think about these two?
And here's another, both are pretty, but I think the one on the right side is lacking in something, maybe it is too simple. While the one on the left side focuses on the design. But of course, I'm sure each barangay put a lot of effort into building them, so kudos to everyone.
And another one, I am not sure which barangay built these two, but they look good too. Both gave effort in designing it.
Another pretty and cool creation, both have little parol on the side, which I find prettier.
And more... The design is as beautiful as the other, as is the color.
And lastly are these two. I like the design of the first one. The second one is pretty too, but the color is kinda bland, but still not bad. And what's more important is that these Parols were built to feel the essence of Christmas. And each of them made us feel it. Thanks to these parols, we can enjoy our sweet time in the park, walking around while enjoying these bright and colorful lights.
By the way you can see the previous Parolan Festival here, from 2022 to 2023. Glad I was able to share some of those in the previous years. Hehe.

Is there a contest on that parol? They are all pretty and sure they put a lot of effort into making and designing it.
Yes, meron, hehe, 13 Barangay ang naglalaban laban. Yong isa dun is from SK Federation naman, so di yun kasali. Kakatuwa nga effort nang bawat Barangay eh
Those large paroles are absolutely stunning! I can feel the Christmas spirit in your area! I wish our city had those kinds of big paroles.
