Namaste!
Today while walking in the park I saw this broken bush lying under a tree. From a distance, it looked like a common bush but when I went closer I saw that it had small round-shaped fruits and since we have been eating these small fruits since childhood I got excited because it was none other than Indian Jujube or Chinese apple.
In this picture, you can see a closer look of this fruit. Doesn't it look like a mini apple? :P If it is eaten fresh and fully ripe, it actually tastes like an apple.
Well, the shocking thing was that this broken branch was found below this tree and although this tree looked like it was bearing this fruit, there was no fruit on it.
I saw not only this tree but many other trees around it but I could not see this fruit anywhere. Then almost disappointed, I moved ahead from that place and at a distance of about 1 kilometre, on the edge of the park, I saw another tree of this fruit and this tree was full of these mini apples.
Although, not even one of these fruits was ripe and they were a little small in size too, obviously since it is a tree planted in a public place, it would not get much care, but thankfully, there were no insects or anything in them, so hopefully, these fruits will ripen completely in the next few days.
It is indeed a feel-good feeling to see trees laden with such fruits in public places!

The apples looks succulent. I am not sure we have such kind of fruit in this part of the world.
Nice one buddy
They actually are very small in size but taste quite similar to the real apple. Thank you friend! :)
Tempting photographs that make me grab the mini apples. Haha, Im glad I came across your post. We often get to see our chikoos getting eaten by parakeets with chunks of fleshy juicy grabs relished. Ah, took me down to the memory lane.
Thank you for appreciating my average photography so much. Sometimes seeing something like this brings back sweet memories. I am glad that my post helped you to travel back in time to your memories. :)
