I really like this - especially the way you've shown what our world would be like if an ice age happened, and the need to find watering holes (I guess for the fish as much as for liquid drinking water !).

When I was at school (long before global warming was invented) we were taught that modern history is just a warm period between two ice ages and that soon enough the world would freeze again. Then research showed that when an ice age struck, it happened fast, on a scale of 100-1000 years. It's logical enough that there would be times when earth is colder than now, and times when it's warmer.

Yes, climate changes constantly. Some fish and animals are adapted to hibernate in frozen water.

Ice age happen fast because our global jet streams and currents can change quickly. It's mind boggling that in 100-1000 years our world can change so much!
