RE: Welcome to the city of Whiteleaf

in Worldbuilding5 months ago

This has potential, both as a world for gaming in, and for storytelling !

It already makes me wonder what horrors can be found in the charred, blackened areas beyond the forest. Is Whiteleaf a place to hide from the outer wasteland, or a base used to re-establish civilisation - perhaps there are factions in town with different views on that, which could lead to some interesting tensions.

But best of all, I love the imagery of the place. Let's hope the white stuff is more like snow that takes the heat out of the fire, than asbestos dust !

Thanks!
The blackend areas can be an interesting addition. Haven't thought on this one but I like it. Right now I am thinking about the weigth of politics and religion I should add to add some space how to cope with the dust.

The tavern, placed in the tower of the townhall will probably be a first point of interest. It was the largest shelter during the fire and it remained a anchor for most inhabitants
