My idea was that the "water" and general atmosphere intoxicate the diners, so many leave in a euphoric state. Perhaps this is to cloak the location, or maybe Will-o-wisps are just mischievous like that hehe

Looking over it now, I wrote that bit kinda dodgy !LOLZ
