WWE Wrestlers Who Have Died

Over the years, WWE has lost a number of its most beloved stars. Here are some of the wrestlers who have recently passed away:

Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda): Passed away on August 24, 2023 at the age of 36. Wyatt was a defining superstar of his generation and accomplished many feats in WWE, including becoming top champion in 2017.

Terry Funk: Passed away on August 23, 2023 after a four-year battle with dementia. Funk was a professional wrestling legend, known for his hardcore style and influence on the sport.

Butch (Robert Miller): Died on April 2, 2023. He was known as one half of “The Bushwhackers” in the WWF, an iconic tag team duo from the 1980s and 1990s.

Scott Hall: Died on March 14, 2022. Known in the ring as "Razor Ramon," Hall was a key figure in the golden era of wrestling and a founding member of the nWo in WCW.

Jon Huber (Luke Harper/Brodie Lee): Died on December 26, 2020 at age 41 due to a respiratory problem. Huber had a distinguished career in WWE and AEW, being recognized for his talent and charisma in the ring.

Pat Patterson: Died in December 2020. He was the first intercontinental champion and creator of the Royal Rumble, leaving an indelible legacy in WWE.

Road Warrior Animal (Joseph Laurinaitis): Died on September 23, 2020 at age 70. As a member of the legendary Road Warriors, he left an indelible mark on the tag team division.

Kamala (James Harris): Died on August 10, 2020 at age 70 due to respiratory arrest. Known as "The Ugandan Giant," he was a memorable figure in WWE during the 1980s and 1990s.

Shad Gaspard: Died in May 2020 after being swept away by a wave in California, after heroically saving his son from drowning. Gaspard was a member of the Cryme Tyme tag team in WWE.

Howard Finkel: Died on April 16, 2020 at age 69. Finkel was the legendary WWE announcer whose voice became synonymous with the company for decades.

These losses have left a void in the world of professional wrestling, and their legacies continue to be remembered by fans around the world.
