WOOGEAR and WOOBETA are next up on the sales lists for WOO (so is the 2nd WOO territory which has not had its official name released). There hasn’t been a lot of information of which wrestlers and talent that will officially be in the packs but it is assumed they will be sold for $3-$5 each. There could be more than 2 of the publicly announced partnered wrestlers included, but I’m more curious about the WOOGEAR.
We know that the WOOGEAR will be extremely disruptive to how players strategize and play the game. The official game has not been released yet and players should have at least 3-6 months to get used to the game as well as play and earn $WOO rewards before WOOGEAR is involved. It all feels like too much too soon. Also the buyers market for WOO right now is still recovering from the land sale, buying $WOO to upgrade their cities, and the final cards they need to level up their wrestlers and mangers.
To introduce WOOGEAR before WOOBETA would not give the WOO Community a chance to get familiar with how all of the base mechanics of the game work at a decent pace, and would force them to cram all of the base information with all of the new adjustments that would come with the additional perks of WOOGEAR being worn and having to be repaired and replaced.
All in all I am still getting my bags ready for both sales, but I really hoping that WOO releases WOOBETA packs before they release WOOGEAR. Finally, I'd like to see WOOGEAR released after Q2 of 2024 to give players a chance to learn the game and save up funds to participate in the sale.

Everyone likes more options, and good entry points for new blood, but players should be familiar with the base game mechanics before having to modify their strategies(both in the game and in the wider ecosystem). And not just the players, but the team will also need to refine gameplay and strike the right balance. They need a good baseline from a much wider dataset than current, all of which takes time.
