Trasy rowerowe w okolicach Ustronia są naprawdę godne polecenia. W piątek przejechaliśmy 36 kilometrów na trasie Ustroń - Grodziec - Skoczów. Nawet ja dałam radę - a ogólnie rzecz ujmując, pod kątem wzniesień wcale nie było gorzej niż w Rudzie Śląskiej. Dobrą trasę wybrał mój małżonek :)
Bicycle routes in the vicinity of Ustroń are really worth recommending. On Friday we traveled 36 kilometers on the Ustroń - Grodziec - Skoczów route. Even I managed - and generally speaking, in terms of hills it was not worse than in Ruda Śląska. Good route was chosen by my spouse :)
Pogoda trochę nas początkowo chciała nastraszyć, wisiały za nami ciężkie, deszczowe chmury. Ale nie daliśmy się tak łatwo zbić z tropu i patrzyliśmy uparcie w jasną stronę nieba.
The weather initially wanted to scare us a bit, heavy rain clouds hung behind us. But we were not so easily confused and kept looking at the bright side of the sky.
Jechaliśmy rekreacyjnie, tzn. oni (@sk1920 i Bombel) jechali jak zwykle szybko, a ja ich rekreacyjnie goniłam, przez co miałam stosunkowo niewiele okazji do robienia zdjęć po drodze - a szkoda, bo niemal każdy zakręt przynosił widok niosący ukojenie dla spracowanego oka.
We were driving recreationally, i.e. they (@sk1920 and Bombel) were driving fast as usual, and I was chasing them recreationally, so I had relatively few opportunities to take photos along the way - which is a pity, because almost every turn brought a view that brought relief to the weary eye.
Było parę podjazdów - w tym dwa, przy których postanowiłam wprowadzić rower. Oto jeden z nich. Może na zdjęciu wygląda niepozornie, ale był dość wybitny. W sumie, to wjechać bym wjechała, ale było jeszcze dużo trasy przed nami i nie chciałam za bardzo zmęczyć nóg.
There were a few climbs - including two where I decided to introduce the bike. Here is one of them. It may look inconspicuous in the photo, but it was quite outstanding. All in all, I would drive in, but there was still a lot of road ahead of us and I didn't want to tire my legs too much.
Dojechaliśmy do Grodźca. Oto jeden z bardziej charakterystycznych budynków - szkoła.
We arrived in Grodziec. Here is one of the more characteristic buildings - the school.
Zaraz naprzeciwko niej znajduje się typowy po-prlowski blok.
Right in front of it there is a typical post-communist block of flats.
Jedziemy dalej, bo my tu nie do bloków, ani nie do szkoły. My do zameczku.
We're going further, because we're not here to the blocks of flats or to the school. We head to the castle.
Po drodze mijamy jeszcze urocze zakątki i staw.
On the way, we pass charming corners and a pond.
A na wodzie jest domek dla ptaków!
And there's a birdhouse on the water!
To też dobra miejscówka na family photo.

Wreszcie docieramy do zamku. Oczywiście zboczenie zawodowe w pierwszej kolejności każe mi studiować tablicę unijną. Swoją drogą dziwna jest - gdzie tu jest wartość projektu i numer programu?
Finally we reach the castle. Of course, professional deviation in the first place makes me study the EU board. By the way, it's strange - where is the value of the project and the program number?
Zanim jeszcze przejdziemy do zamku, pokażę zabudowania w tle. Te jeszcze bez rewitalizacji.

W 400 rocznicę śmierci Wacława Grodeckiego - autora mapy polski. Faktycznie, tablica nie kłamie, stworzył on piękną mapę:

Jedźmy dalej. Cała trasa wiedzie nas taką miłą, wąską asfaltową drogą, z przecudnymi widokami.
Let's keep going. The whole route leads us on such a nice, narrow asphalt road, with wonderful views.
Było więc więcej niż pewne, że w końcu mój małżonek powie DOŚĆ i wjedzie w krzaki :))))
A tak naprawdę, to jednym z punktów wycieczki były stawy hodowlane i przejazd przez groblę.
So it was more than certain that in the end my husband would say ENOUGH and drive into the bushes :))))
In fact, one of the highlights of the trip were the breeding ponds and the drive over the dike.
Niestety Bombel okazał się niewrażliwy na te sielankowe widoki i zaczął uderzać w kimę, więc nie było innego wyjścia, jak przedrzeć się przez pokrzywy na asfalt i grzać do Skoczowa na lody.
Unfortunately, Bombel turned out to be insensitive to these idyllic views and started hitting the nap, so there was no other choice but to break through the nettles onto the asphalt and speed up to Skoczów to have some ice cream.
Rynek w Skoczowie, o taki o. Po Gliwicach mało co mnie potrafi zachwycić ;) Z całą pewnością byłoby tu lepiej, gdyby wyłączyli tą strefę z ruchu samochodowego.
The market square in Skoczów, such a place. After Gliwice, there is little that can impress me ;) It would certainly be better here if they excluded this zone from car traffic.
Ostatni punkt programu za nami, pora wracać do Ustronia. Moje nogi były nastawione na 30 km podróży, nie 36, więc równo na 30-tym kilometrze trochę padły.
The last point of the program is behind us, it's time to go back to Ustroń. My legs were set for 30 km of the trip, not 36, so even on the 30th kilometer they needed to rest a bit.
