Howdy all, pleasure to be on this chain. I'm not that much of a blogger, but there's always a first time for everything, and where there is good motivation enough I believe humans can move out of their shells and explore. As time goes on I think I will change this niche to something a little more finance-related, but for now I would want to test the waters with what's easy.
I remember back in high school I had this teacher that constantly gave this advice from time to time: "Always do the easy ones in an exam before tackling the difficult one" by Sir Isaac. He was my biology teacher and the idea behind this is it saves a hell of time. It's the best approach to life in general. Anyways, this ain't some quote blog, it's supposed to be a fan journey.
I have read a little about web3 games and how they came on the scene not so long ago but caught the attention of many people, especially gamers. I believe that play2earn (P2E) is made easier and possible with crypto money in the backend so to speak. It obviously won't make you rich, not even close to rich, and I don't know if people could even make a living from them, but I think they are good for a side hustle. You know, something that puts a little something in your pocket at the end of the month. But I hear, people have made a fortune from some of the games, especially the early adopters. Obviously the early adopter in any field would kill it, if and when the project takes off.
The Journey:
I have never actually tried a web3 game before, but have read about them, and since it's a bonus to blog about them and earn a little token here and there, why not just dive in. I mean, what could possibly be the risk if I don't throw my savings into it. I'm going to be trying out all the games on Hive probably before the end of March, then I would decide which one would be my secret hideout when my wife gets mad at me. I can be so annoying sometimes, wonder how she is able to put up with all my BS haha.
Anyways, I have seen a couple of the games and communities:
- Splinterlands
- WOO (The wrestling squad) next on my list
- Terracore
- Rising Star
- Gods On Chain
and many others I will talk about in later blogs. For starters I'm going to try out Terracore since it looks like there's some action going on in there.
Always wanted to travel out of Earth to explore other planets, and really hoping Elon would not screw up SpaceX with his political affiliation as it's happening now. Let me stay out of politics, that would definitely come along the journey.
