Fir and foremost I want to wish you a happy happy birthday dear. Hope you have a blast on your special day.
I love your tree, so many decorations, looks like the ones I see in the malls.
When we are kids Christmas is always the highlight of our lives because it is the time we receive many gifts but as we grew older it's just the same over and over but ai guess it depends on one's perspective and also how it is celebrated in the family.
Me, growing up. We would only have a tree if we make it. How?? Like I would get a dried small tree with branches then we decorate it with anything glittery. Out from our little child's mind, nothing lavish.
We are seven in the family, a big family so my parents prioritize food and our basic needs instead of buying other wants.
I was like you too, when my son was born I wanted him to have a great experience about Christmas so I bought a tall 7 inch Tree and decorated it.
Over time, we grew tired of putting it out and also the storage plus one time we were flooded the tree was broken so no more tree from then on.
I wish for you to continue that tradition so your son will continue it too when he himself will have his own family as well.
Have an awesome day! Do share some of your cake with us!

The priority will always be food and the basic needs of the family, but when it is possible to give something extra to make the children feel happy, it is very pleasant. I am very sorry that they have had the house flooded in the past and I hope never again if it happens again. Hugs 🤗
