Hello dear #topfamily community, once again in another edition of observe, think and write an initiative that awakens spontaneity in the creation of content of the various hiver friends, including me, starting from an image that varies week by week , inspiring in the same way, a variety of stories that are generally everyday like mine below.

The magical cakes of "lesbita"

Observing this image in detail, pleasant memories come to me, impregnated with the rich smell of vanilla and a sweet taste of cake, but not a traditional cake; I am referring to one with a very special flavor, indescribable perhaps, but which enchanted and still delights palates throughout my Monteverde neighborhood where I live, capable of bringing smiles to its diners' faces in the most adverse circumstances.

I am referring to the cakes made by the blessed hands of my cousin Lesbia, "lesbita", as we affectionately call her in the family; who 15 years ago was left alone with her three children, after her husband decided to emigrate abroad in search of better job opportunities in order to improve her quality of life and that of all of them.

It does not matter to which country he emigrated, nor what his countless promises were; Overall, he didn't fulfill even one of them, above all, coming for her and her daughters as soon as she stabilized in a couple of years. The truth is that "lesbita" did not hear from him again after a Facebook photo announced that he had married another woman, later he blocked her from all social networks.

Consequently, his little children also signed part of his forgetfulness; Fortunately, they have a mother who decided to raise them alone, working with dignity to provide them with food, education and all their basic needs with a lot of love.

Looking closely at the aforementioned image, I think of the first cakes that he began to sell in the Lesbian neighborhood, simple and at low cost to gradually gain his clientele, but yes, very delicious; He always had a very good hand at making his cakes fluffy and I remember how they looked in his oven; Golden, round, with openings in the center of the spongy and obvious marks from the small knife introduced looking for a sign of perfect cooking inside the cake when it comes out completely clean.

However, the most charming thing about my cousin's cakes lies not so much in their appearance, but in the magical ingredient that contains their divine flavor, capable of changing any adverse mood or enhancing the joy existing inside; All the residents of the neighborhood, its faithful diners throughout all these years, have testified to this.

My "lesbian" cousin attributes her magic ingredient to the fact that, at first when she started making cakes to support her children, she had a deep sadness for the abandonment of her partner, but after the success with her cakes, that pain He was left behind and dedicated himself to his business, perfecting it more every day and seeing his dreams come true thanks to his entrepreneurship; It generates great happiness that she shares in essence with all her clients through her cakes.

Let's say that through them, you share a little of that great satisfaction that you carry inside having shown yourself to be an empowered person, a fighter and capable of achieving your goals with a lot of faith in your heart and in the hand of God; Lesbita's magical cakes intrinsically carry a beautiful message: make it with love and add flavor.

I hope you enjoy reading my participation in observe, think and write as much as I enjoyed participating and I invite @yurahy43 and @zhanavic69 to participate.
