Hoy quiero compartirles un recuerdo súper divertido, ese día fui con mis hijos y mis amigas Oly y Francelina, con sus hijos, para la península de Araya, donde la playa es espectacular, nos fuimos en bote desde Cumaná hasta Manicuare, en la otra costa, a estos botes los llaman (Tapaitos); cuando llegamos allí agarramos una camioneta pick up, con cabina (la llamamos perrera) hasta la población de Araya, estando allí nos quedamos en la playa del Castillo, que es donde se encuentran los puestos de comida y bebida, allí pasamos el día disfrutando de la playita, pedimos comida y refrescos para los niños y unas cervecitas heladas para nosotras.
Today I want to share with you a super fun memory, that day I went with my children and my friends Oly and Francelina, with their children, to the peninsula of Araya, where the beach is spectacular, we went by boat from Cumana to Manicuare, on the other coast, these boats are called (Tapaitos); When we got there we took a pick up truck, with cabin (we call it perrera) to the town of Araya, being there we stayed at the Castillo beach, which is where the food and drink stands are located, there we spent the day enjoying the beach, we ordered food and soft drinks for the children and some ice cold beers for ourselves.

Mis amigas se asustaron porque no sabían donde podiamos pasar la noche, el único hotel estaba lleno... pero lo contaban con que yo conocía a una familia que vive en Araya y los llame y nos ofrecieron posada.

Cuando llegamos al rancho la Peñera, ellas se sorprendieron de lo bonito que era, al entrar nos encontramos con la churuata, con chichorros por todos lados y quesaron encantasas con lo amables y buena gente, que eran mis amigos, que nos ofrecieron una habitación más linda y más cómoda que la del hotel.

Al otro día, no desperdiciamos el día, nos quedamos en la playa y a las 11:40 de la mañana, cuando salió el ferry, nos regresamos para Cumaná.
Así que esa aventura, la repetimos varios años, nos quedábamos un día de las vacaciones con el señor Freddy y la sra. Dunia y pasábamos un día precioso.
The next day, we did not waste the day, we stayed on the beach and at 11:40 in the morning, when the ferry left, we returned to Cumana.
