La imagen me hace recordar cuando voy al pueblo de Carapa Estado Anzoátegui, donde viven mis tíos, tengo varios tíos en el pueblo,los cuales son agricultores, mi tío Matilde, el cual le decimos Macho, tiene un conuco o una Isla a orilla del Río Orinoco.
Este conuco o isla queda retirado del pueblo, mi tío se va temprano, es decir madruga para llegar casi saliendo el sol, el se lleva su machete, azadon y palo, para apartar el monte, es decir lleva sus herramientas necesarias para pasar el día limpiando las tierras para sembrar.
El machete, me acuerdo que la parte de la cacha se le daño y el lo arregló con cuero o goma de caucho e hizo una cacha parecida a la que tenía el machete y lo amarro con alambre y le quedó muy bien.
Viaje al pueblo en Diciembre y fui al conocu, tiene una vista bellísima porque, se ve el río Orinoco y varias curiaras con personas pescando y estos estaban en los brazos del río, por dónde están las diferentes islas y hay varios agricultores, en los cuales están sembrando patilla, melón frijol, maíz.
Mi tío tiene una casa en el conuco y empezó a quedarse, ya que tiene cosecha, puede ver qué diferentes agricultores estaban sacando melón y llegaban los camiones por el puerto de Botalón, los camiones salen cargados y esta cosecha es vendida en el Periférico de Ciudad Bolívar o viajan para otra zona, quedé encanta con la cantidad de productos que llevaban los camiones.
El principal instrumento que llevan estos agricultores es el machete, lo utilizan para todo, hasta para picar las pastillas, con un machetazo y listo.
