No iba a perder la oportunidad de publicar hoy jueves de tbt para mostrarles este lindo recuerdo y hablarles un poco sobre una persona importante en mi vida, mi abuela materna. Aprovecho hoy de publicarlo pues es su cumpleaños.
La señora Aida D' Lorenzo es mi abuela materna, quien me ha cuidado y amado desde que nací, compartimos momentos preciosos, llenos de risas y merengue por todos lados, pues mi abuela es repostera profesional, le encanta hacer tortas, quesillos, ponquesitos, suspiros, marquesas, etc. Era conocida en su cuidad Valencia-Carabobo en Venezuela, le llegaba pedidos para fiestas, bodas, reuniones, bautizos. Tiene un cuarto especial donde guarda todo su material repostero, hay de todo, tanto materiales como ingredientes, era mi lugar favorito en casa de la abuela.
Por su edad ya no está tan activa en el mundo de los pasteles, pero les aseguro que sigue horneando las mejores tortas del mundo. Mi abuela es una persona muy amable y cariñosa, eso si, cuando se molestaba su carácter era muy fuerte, gracias a Dios no la hacíamos enojar JAJAJAJA. Nos llevaba a mis hermanos y a mis primos al acuario, a los parques, a comer helado y luego nos mandaba a bañar, pues no le gustaba que nos sentaramos en sus muebles si estabamos sudados.
Este Tbt tan bonito que les muestro, fue en un diciembre del 2014, como de costumbre íbamos a su casa en Valencia y pasábamos las navidades junto a toda la familia, como me encantaría volver a esos tiempos...
Recuerdo que mi abuela no quería tomarse fotos pues no le gustaban mucho, pero la animamos y mi tío le dijo algo que me hizo llorar en el momento "Dale mamá que si te vas, no vamos a tener fotos tuyas", yo aún era pequeña, y esos temas me daban mucho miedo, así que me puse a llorar y dije "Eso nunca va a pasar, mi abuela es infinita". Entre risas y llanto le tomamos la foto a mi abuela junto a mi abuelo, después de eso nos sentamos a cenar, recibimos vecinos y empezamos a cantar, esperando las 12 para que el niño Dios llegara con los regalos.
Le agradezco a mi abuelita por darme momentos inolvidables, por educarme con amor y cariño, por enseñarme a nunca rendirme y sobre todo por enseñarme el amor por la cocina, feliz cumpleaños abuelita hermosa. Valencia queda lejos de mi cuidad, así que aveces pasamos hasta un año sin vernos, pero yo sigo queriendo a mi abuela todos los días de mi vida.

I was not going to miss the opportunity to publish today's tbt Thursday to show you this nice memory and tell you a little about an important person in my life, my maternal grandmother. I take the opportunity to publish it today because it is her birthday.
Mrs. Aida D' Lorenzo is my maternal grandmother, who has cared for me and loved me since I was born, we shared precious moments, full of laughter and meringue everywhere, because my grandmother is a professional baker, she loves to make cakes, quesillos, ponquesitos, suspiros, marquesas, etc.. She was well known in her city Valencia-Carabobo in Venezuela, she received orders for parties, weddings, reunions, baptisms. She has a special room where she keeps all her baking material, there is everything, both materials and ingredients, it was my favorite place in my grandmother's house.
Because of her age she is no longer so active in the world of cakes, but I assure you that she still bakes the best cakes in the world. My grandmother is a very kind and loving person, that if, when she got upset her temper was very strong, thank God we didn't make her angry HAHAHA. She would take my brothers and my cousins to the aquarium, to the parks, to eat ice cream and then she would send us to take a bath, because she didn't like us to sit on her furniture if we were sweaty.
This beautiful Tbt that I show you, was in December 2014, as usual we went to her house in Valencia and spent Christmas with the whole family, as I would love to go back to those times ....
I remember that my grandmother did not want to take pictures because she did not like them very much, but we encouraged her and my uncle told her something that made me cry at the time "Tell mom that if you leave, we will not have pictures of you", I was still little, and those topics scared me a lot, so I started to cry and said "That will never happen, my grandmother is infinite". Between laughing and crying we took the picture of my grandmother with my grandfather, after that we sat down to dinner, we received neighbors and started to sing, waiting for 12 o'clock for the baby God to arrive with the gifts.
I thank my grandmother for giving me unforgettable moments, for educating me with love and affection, for teaching me to never give up and above all for teaching me the love for cooking, happy birthday beautiful grandmother.Valencia is far from my city, so sometimes we spend up to a year without seeing each other, but I still love my grandmother every day of my life.
