For several years, I had neither a laptop nor a smart phone, I had a Kindle. And I didn't have Internet at home, so I went to cafes, stores, and the library for internet. Kindles work great.
But there's an addition to this, because I had a black and white Kindle before I got a Kindle Fire, and the old keyboard one had a browser on it ...that worked on cell phone towers for free. I used the internet in black and white! It worked!
This was before Hive, so I didn't use it for that, but I used fb and Twitter with it. 😁
I think they got rid of that feature, though.

Hehe...
I didn't realize the Kindle and Fire are the same thing "Amazon Kindle Fire" is the Fire 8's full name. Yes they got rid of the internet browser. However I side loaded the Brave Browser onto it (so I can make Brave coin by surfing the internet) but Chrome works on it also.
So, Yes, the Kindle did have the browser removed but for those who take the time you can absolutely use it to do Hive stuff :)
Thanks or reading
and thanks for following me. So cool :)
I just tried the b&w Kindle and tried peakd, Ecency, and hive.blog and it gave me this error every time. I even tried linking over from Google. Had to log into wifi as well! no more cellular, probably because the US got rid of 3G towers.
the Kindle Fire still will connect to most sites, though, I play YouTube videos on that one. :)
I never thought kindle has the internet option, as far as I remember when i still had it that was just reading book😂maybe I didn't explore the features it had that well. How do you currently access hive?
I currently have Ecency on my phone and I used Peakd on a laptop. But since that was my only internet for a long time many years ago, I decided to test it out.
