Happy Wednesday my Friends,
January is finally over and February is short. To tell you the truth, I am counting the days, lol. Also, this contest is perfect to help me take my mind away from the gloominess and cold outside!
Anyway, today I have for you a lovely tiny beach that we visited at summertime. This beach is part of the RICHARD'S MEMORIAL PARK.
Since we live in Toronto area, we are blessed with beautiful parks and beaches by the lake Ontario. We have visited many of them but this one is my favorite.
Most beeches are very busy, and it's hard to take photos without having people in the picture. However, I didn't have to worry about that here because it was almost no one there. Well except the gulls, lol. And of course they were welcomed to be my models. They always are!
Now when I see this picnic table, I imagine myself siting there and have my lunch while enjoying the view.
This wild Purple Loosestrife is growing everywhere and it's a beautiful flower. I love seeing it making everything around vibrant! Unfortunately, I found out to be an invasive species brought here from Europe and Asia back in 19th century. Oh well!
I also spotted a fellow cricket that was blending with the rocks. He was quite an unusual kind. Never seen one like that before.
One last shot before we go home. Time to pick up some groceries and make a dinner.
Thank you for visiting and have wonderful rest of the week πππ
Beautiful! I'd love to take a picnic basket and just lie there, absorbing the stunning scenery.
You are so right @clairemobey, I would too. Well I will in few moths. Thank you so much πππ

Beautiful, I'm also eagerly waiting for spring to finally do gardening againπ
I love your beautiful garden Heidi. Thank you so much πππ
What a wonderful beach Lena! I would also be counting the days...although we are hoping this terrible heat will break. I could certainly spend all day lying in that water. I'm sorry for the late comment. I have a few posts open but it's been so busy here that I am only reading and catching up now! We're having to make sure our animals don't get heat stroke or bloat. So I'm spending more time outdoors than I would've liked. The beach seems like a wonderful escape from our summer and your winter!
No need to apologize Tracey, I can only imagine how much work it takes to take care of such a big homestead. I could never do it. I can barely take care of myself, lol. But thank you so much for such a lovely comment and I wish you all the best πππ
Thank you Lena. We each cope with what we need to. And when it involves a choice then you need to cope
I know! That's life and these experiences shape who we become. You know I am going to be 59 this year and I have lots of struggle behind me. That's why I must take it slow now.
Only 59?! My husband is a few years younger...and me a few years younger again! (We are older parents ;) Struggle gives us wisdom. Hopefully. And through those struggles we are able to help others. Hopefully! Although I find struggles make many bitter which is tragic. It is like most things - depends how you look at it. Silver lining or cloud. You are a silver lining for the gift of your years Lena
I would never guess! Wow! You have such a young children! But you see I had my first daughter when I was 18 and I feel like I lived 4 lives already lol.
Only four lives ;) I can only imagine how different it is to be a younger mom versus an older. My first was born just before I turned 40. My stepsons are already old enough to have their own children.... And we LOVE our life
