The Sound of Success: How Music Inspired My Studiesβ€οΈπŸ’•πŸ’―

Music is soul food, no doubt we all know that. What you listen to is what you feed your soul with.

Count your blessings, name them one by one;
Count your blessings, see what God hath done;
Count your blessings, name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

This song speaks more than a thousand words of encouragement to me whenever I find myself facing challenges, difficulty, and hardship. I take some time to reflect on my past and how far God has brought me.

I thank God for the life I live. I give Him all the glory; it is not my doing. Every living being has a story of their life, and I am no exception. Mine is one where I see the hand of God upon me whenever I remember it.
I was born into an average family, that is, we were middle-class. My parents were focused on raising me, and as a result, there wasn't much money left for savings or investment.
Seeing me through school was not easy. Many sacrifices were made, including putting the ongoing building project on hold, to ensure I acquired my degree.

There's a saying, 'to whom much is given, much is expected.' Education is a serious business, not a child's play. To stand out, one must often work diligently. It would be very disappointing for my parents if, after investing so much in my education, I couldn't achieve good results. Studying Civil Engineering, a five-year course, was a very challenging part of my life. However, it was a course I chose for myself. While it started out relatively easy, it became increasingly difficult as I progressed. I watched as some of my colleagues dropped out or repeated a year, but I persevered through it all. It's not just my effort, but also His grace that has helped me."

I will conclude with this song lyrics

Unto the Lord be the glory,
Great things He hath done
Unto the Lord be the glory,
Great things He hath done.
Great things He hath done,
Greater things He will do
Unto the Lord be the glory,
Great things He hath done
