Usually, sad music isn't giving me a sad feeling. Though this morning it did. It invoked memories of a guy (an acquaintance) that sadly enough, passed away last week. Though I don't know him from classical-like music, it brought up memories about him. He was maybe one of the most positive peeps in the music event business in my country. He came up with a set of great club and festival events I enjoyed a lot over the past 20+ years. He was one of the few that regardless of everything, programmed music he really liked, even when this meant fewer peeps coming to his events. Whenever I saw him, he was always smiling and radiating positivity.
BTW, I do like the song!
ps The SadSunday tag seems to have become your own MiPiano tag :)
Well, SadSunday seems that worked this time, an emotion that went from the composer, through the performer to the listener.
Sorry to hear the loss of this acquaintance, an important guy from the music-events field you described that left this world. But I am sure, if he was that positive, he would like his family, friends, acquaintances to stay positive, even in his absence.
I knew a guy, he lived the next door in the building where I lived in Novi Sad. He was always joking than if he dies, he wants people sing cheerful songs in his funeral. I know, seems crazy but he wanted others to stay in positive vibes, even without him (one day when it happens).
Btw, thank you so much for your support 🦄 Your other shoulder was visited by an angel which convinced you ;)
Ok, checked the SadSunday tag, maybe lately mostly Mipiano tag, though you also appears some times... But at the time I was not here, there are lots of posts with this tag. I suppose those users are maybe not active anymore?
However, maybe someone sees this post and decides to do Sad Sunday posts too...it would be interesting 😊
So many "maybies" in this message 🤦🏻♀️
I like your 'neighbour' view a LOT: cheerful songs because the peeps left behind will continue their lives on this planet and hopefully with an as positive mindset as possible.
Maybe a bit joking, but I always say: I want to be buried when I died, so the peeps coming to my funeral can enjoy a party on top of my grave. So DJs, drinks and everything shall be there :)
SadSunday: this tag as to so many other tags, had more usage before we got the community features, I think. Those days, peeps still browsed through tags. I feel these days, tags are not used anymore to discover posts. In my curation, I use some of the music tags though, not sure what other curators doing, if they still using tags for discovery.
Maybe.... always an interesting word. Actually, when we think in lots of maybe's, maybe this shows we don't mind too much what happens in the future which will give is more time (and focus) to the present... which is a good thing? So maybe 'maybe' are good! :)
Hm, your plan sounds great, I mean we are talking about a funeral, how can it be something great.. but yes, absolutely cool 🙌😎
I never thought how I would like to be mine. Maybe because I think it is not the time for it jet 😂 Not the usual funeral music, that is for sure. But interestingly, for example Chopin wrote the Funeral March as a movement in his piano sonata no. 2 - B flat minor. That I would NOT like to be played. Mozart, Requiem...hm, neither music from there. Ow, Rachmaninoff, piano concerto no 2 , but the same love goes to piano concerto no 3 too. Could be some Ennio Morricone music, or Hanz Zimmer, Neiman, Tiersen, Einaudi... Well, neither, I don't fit in any movie 🤣
Tags. I always wondered to what extent they are important, or how some posts are discovered if not posted in any community. With niche communities, tags are not that crucial, as post should be published in that community anyway. But still, maybe they are important. Going back to maybe right in the same paragraph :))
Funeral and music. I would say: Go different, whatever that is :)
Will think of something :) I hope, life will give me time to come up with a plan 😅
