RE: The Aroma of Your City's Small Sea

Beautifully written thoughts. Am so happy to read you (finally?) can (start) accept the past, and the situation and move on. I know the feeling you have. Fortunately, I also developed a high level of acceptance, making me deal with everything, including emotions, relatively easily. I can only tell you to continue learning to accept since that gives us rest in the end. Also, this gives us much more time in the here and now, an important element in feeling happy.

Thank you for your kind and thoughtful response. It means so much to hear that you too have reached a level of acceptance that brings peace and clarity. I agree that acceptance is truly liberating, allowing us to focus on the present and enjoy the joy it offers. Your encouragement inspires me to continue to grow and find that balance. May we all live fully in the present!

The balance is good since there is a trap in levels of acceptance. The trap: when accepting everything, in quite an easy way, this may not motivate us to put extra energy into whatever we like. In simple short terms, It may kill our drive.

May we all live fully in the present!

You’ve articulated a profound truth! Unchecked acceptance can indeed lull us into complacency, robbing us of the spark to strive. Balance is key—embracing the present, yet holding onto a fire that propels us toward what we truly value.

To living fully, and driven! Hear, hear! ;))
