Wow it's too much music. Even if you were talking about other things, it seems besides music you didn't had much going on. What about friends, projects, dreams, tech, videogames, mood.

90s was my defining decade, it was the Boys II Men decade in my life. From 12 to 22, so many things changed in that space. From the experiences to the actual fabric of the things around me.

It went from a waterproof Sony Walkman to Mp3 CD player. It went from Nintendo Super Mario 3, to Nintendo Cube and Gameboy Advance.

From Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the movie to Matrix and considering that everything is an application and a simulation, including life and 'modern life'.

It went from Jordan Bulls to AI and Vince Carter. To playing with friends to play organized sports and become a part of what I did as an athlete.

But my experiences went on from living in what I consider an outskirt of the world into the core of it. Sure, I think differently now, or maybe just don't put it as much importance as I once did. But from spending life with a traditional family to what I always considered to be real life, when I live on my own and I have to make decisions by myself, and be worried about my own safety and be 'in control'.

The way I see friends, how my life was compartmentalized and how things happening in one part of my life, had 0 impact on the other. But also the person I was for some people was different from another group, which I guess we all experienced from a young age. But it just became more intense. The question of who am I? Became who am I to whom? And the real me, blend into the context of the background and the situation.

So yeah, maybe you missed a few more areas from life. What about food (diet), fashion, friends, so on.

videogames

I could list dozens of MS-DOS video games from the 1990s, which I played as a child.

I even forget the name of at least one of those games, which I liked to play.

It was some kind of RPG game.

I really played many MS-DOS video games on a 133 MHz Pentium 1 PC, and on a 66 MHz 486 PC too.

For example Heroes of Might and Magic II, Wolfenstein 3D, Doom I-II, Hexen, Heretic, Gods, Raptor, Dynablaster, Lemmings, Theme Park, Galacta, Hexxagon, etc.

Nintendo Cube

I tried Nintendo GameCube only once as a child, but I very much enjoyed it.

I remember that it was in a supermarket, and I played some kind of 3D Mario, but currently I do not remember the name of the game exactly.

Matrix

Matrix is one of my favorite movie series.

I watched all of the four episodes.

Gamecube, Ninetendo 8 Bit, Super Ninetendo, Ninetendo 64 I played them all, I really grew up Nintendo, later switched to PS. But Zelda for president!

We had a PlayStation 2 (PS2).

I played Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Max Payne 1-2, Driv3r, and a few other good games on it.

I have not had Nintendo consoles so far.

I played Doom 64, Super Mario Bros, Super Smash Bros and a few other good games on emulators.

Yeah I still have both Zelda's on my switch. Tears of the kingdom and breath of the wild.

You mean Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64?

It was Super Mario Sunshine on Nintendo GameCube.

I clearly remembered that I played a 3D Mario on Nintendo GameCube, and now I remember the name of the game too.

You might have missed part one I did last week.

there I touched already on some topics these were leftovers πŸ˜‚

While music and writing ofcourse never are leftovers they are my cornerstones.

In addition have been looking back at the 90s for months now so I guess I skipped some parts I mentioned over the previous 16 posts.

Where I touched on fashion, friends, girlfriends, and a lot of other good stuff.

Food is an item I skipped but it is a really good one tbh.

The thing is in these last two posts I really looked back on how I changed or actually didn't change.

I looked at physical, work, girlfriends, mindset, music, writing, and family the things most important to me tbh.

Friends is a hard one because my best friend has been there since the 90s and my other best friend was my brother.

My ex girlfriend is a good friend still but that's is where it ends.

Friends come and go and I am a bit of a lone wolf in this life, by choice.

So over the two posts I covered the area's that I think matter most to me and where I might have changed.

Still I love this comment especially because it shows me again how much people can differ in their experiences and I really enjoyed reading it and I think I will have to do a shout out next post for bringing more inspiration so big thanks πŸ™ for that

I see, I didn't know this was a serialized post. I'll check the previous posts, yeah school life is so different from adult life and the way I lived it makes it even more different.

No worries I love a good comment and yours really added value
