Well done you, sounds like you learned it faster. It is difficult to learn. My partner has trouble with it. But he works in Gibraltar and no people speak Spanish to him. So it is difficult for him to learn if he is not immersed in it.
What are your languages?
I know, Italian… we went a while back to Rome. I know what you mean when you say fast… hahaha
Ooo ooo lol 😂 Good…. Hope it helps a bit in the experiment.
Un abrazo y mucho animo. 😉
Yeah, I think that is the logical reason your partner is not improving Spanish, if he doesn't use it, it's normal.
My native language is Hungarian, a very specific language. Then my second language is Serbian, as I was born in former Yugoslavia, so went to school and have all friends talking in that language. Then I almost moved to New Zealand, but I am so happy it didn't happen so I learned English for the exams that were required to get the permanent visa. Finally landed in Spain as a place to live for some time after one summer of vacation spent here 😆
Those are difficult languages to start with. In my eyes that is. Hungarian is very specific indeed.
Interesting, I looked at New Zealand. It is such an beautiful country. It’s landscapes…. 🥰
It always start with a holiday in Spain. How long are you here now?
Have a nice evening further. 👋🏻
Talk soon 😊
If I would have to learn Hungarian now, I think I would give up quickly 😁
We are here for ten years now, actually very likely it could be a permanent place to stay to live but who knows what can happen one day in our heads again 😅
You too, the evening in our peninsula just started, right? :D
That is quite a while already, who knows what happens and where life takes us.
You are right 😂😆 evening just started here… lol
We are on in between times 😉
I assure you ;D
It was hard to accept in the beginning, the different rhythm but all good now :)
Yes, very hard at the beginning if you are used to do different things at different times. Like having dinner. But after 6 years and 14 years for my partner we got used to it. 😎
