Thank you so much @jaydr for this great piece.
I believe every human has seasons where he/she feels used up and discouraged about one thing or the other.
I've also had my fair share of times when I fell my input may not be matching up to my expectations of my output.
At those times I try to step back, and extend Grace to myself. Especially because I have come to realise that as long as we are not the only factors in play, some things will not go as we have planned.
However, God in his infinite mercies knows how to turn our seemingly negative experiences, delays and setbacks around for our good. As the scripture teaches that he us able to make all things work together for the good of anyone that loves God and is called according to His purpose.
I rest in this assurance.
As you have believed, so shall it be to you.
I like how you say "extend grace..
Could you explain that?
Thanks for your comment.
Amen.
By extending grace to myself, i mean that i try not to beat myself up when things are not going the way i expected or planned.
I dont get too hard on myself when those times arise.
This comes from a knowledge that, i am not a lazy person and I give my best to things i set my heart to do.
Other people are "contributing factors" but my response is more of a "determining factor".
