A week has passed since that event, which I will tell you about in this post. It is not a very long period of time, just a few days. If I wanted to increase the number and stay true to the time, I could express a week in 168 hours. Or, even better, let's use minutes as a unit and start this writing from the beginning...?
OK.
So, 10080 minutes have passed since that afternoon I am going to explain to you very soon. The first day of an event you already could read about here and see the market part of it here. As you can guess, these gatherings don't happen that often, it's not an everyday experience for this place. Although we have a number of different fairs, street markets, live music events, concerts, and similar, this eco-style fair is held just once a year. That is why I was so excited about it (and still I am - in case you didn't notice haha) so I went both days to attend it. Well, just in the afternoons. Now, in this post, a small glimpse of the second day (afternoon) is coming to our little corner, to bring some vibes 🌟
After the first afternoon, where Swing music (Gatsby band), Jamaican, and African music had the lead, alongside a handpan concert (that I missed) and organic trance music (that I also missed, but was said that it was great - now I am sorry that I didn't stay longer...), so after that, we had a colourful music offer for the second day too. A vibrational concert (432 Hz music), a gospel music workshop and later a concert of the same gospel group. Then a band called Ensalada Huertana, followed by a reggae thing (I don't know the name of those guys although they are a local group and said their name) and medicine music.
I found in my closet a long denim dress with straps and matched it with light blue (actually turquoise) flat leather shoes I have had already for years. A very thin cardigan on top of the dress, and a small backpack on my back and I was ready to go. I left Mr Mipiano at home as it is not his cup of tea and headed to my solo afternoon adventure. And what waited for me...? Happy-vibed, colourfully dressed people who were already in the mood to swing to the calm music. Maybe I needed some time to unfreeze myself, but it didn't take a lot of time.
When this weird group of people took the scene, with the same weird name for the band - Ensalada huertana (Garden Salad) I got closer and took a seat in one of the plastic chairs that were around. They were left there to those who wanted to listen to the concerts from close, and the rest of the people were listening to the performances on foot or sitting on the grass. Just a few first songs that I was there in the first row, in a calm, non-moving posture, and exactly from those first songs I have video footage, that is what you could see if you decide to watch the video. The vibed music called for movement though. So that's how happened that I stood up, and went back to those people that already had a different approach. They were having a great time, enjoying the mini-concert while dancing. I didn't know anyone, but it was not important as I didn't feel like a stranger.
Also, maybe this music is not the genre I would listen to it every day. But again, it was not important. But the moment was. Why not live it, take what is offered? Why not do something you don't have a chance to do every day? The very next day I would anyway be again in the classroom and make sure the rules are listened to hahaha. Why not dance once without rules?
The plastic chairs that were in the front of the scene disappeared in one moment, put by sides by all these dancing hands and feet that wanted to come closer to the musicians and to that artist that was creating a painting while they were playing and singing. He had his artistic moment to make something on that canvas while the performance lasted. He also moved and painted. In the beginning, I thought it will be just some random colours put on the canvas. Song by song, and there were more lines, colours and slowly I saw a woman there. Her arms and long hair. A circle "something" between her arms. Maybe it would be the planet Earth? Or her child? Later, when the performance was over I saw it was a vase with flowers.
Enjoying those spontaneous moments, and dancing with people I just met there, the Universe probably decided to make me even closer to that mindset. The sole of my right shoe broke in one moment. It split in half. That was funny as it happened there... but what I saw is that many other fellow dancers were barefoot!!! Yes, I had to be barefoot also! I took my shoes off, left them in one corner, hugged the girl that was by me and we danced together. (Am I really writing this down? You can laugh and all, well... your choice hahaha)
It went on for more than an hour, but the Garden Salad band had to be taken away from the menu. (btw, the Spanish-speaking readers, if any will come and listen to the video will understand through the lyrics of the songs how they relate to this eco-event). They had to pack their stuff and a small intermezzo is what came. I said goodbye to the peeps that were around and I took a walk around waiting for the next performances. Some new people came, and reggae music started to sound. That group I didn't understand the name when they were introducing themselves, but I do know they are a local group. In the photo just one of the guys while he was preparing the equipment.
Fewer people stayed there and this time I was just a reserved listener and calm dancer. At one moment I felt it was a bit boring, maybe the company was not to my liking either and my broken shoe needed to be replaced. I counted on the last performance, the medicinal music. Went quickly home, got another pair of footwear and went back. However, I didn't get more fun that day, as the last performance was cancelled. Bad luck I guess? Or just the needed calm that had to come, so as to be able to sleep that night. I will take the second option, the positive side to be picked always :))
For those who decide to watch the video, a small disclaimer: the sound is not the best, that is what my phone got being that close to the speakers. Also in the beginning there is a bit of sound distortion, but try not to pay attention to it :D It serves to give a tiny glimpse of the afternoon/evening when I stayed without my shoe and to leave a simple message: vibra alto!

Ha ha your sole was funny!
I'll listen to the video tomorrow, now I can wake my son up.
Good choice not to listen to the video last night, it was a bit loud music and for sure, it would wake up even the neighbours 😂
Vibra alto!!! :)
Great to hear you let loose with some dancing and laughing. It's always good for the sole (get it? Good for the "sole" 😄) just kidding.
Sorry about your shoe. Stuff happens.
Hahaha, it is good for the soul indeed :))
And the sole, well, the shoes can be replaced easily ;)

Hahahahahaha, @mipiano I was trying to find a good GIF for this reply but I think you found it for both. What a story! As usual a placer read your post.
Hey @freakshow90
So we share that feeling from the gif hehe
Thanks for reading, not really your genre, nor mine, but fun it was. A lot of it :))
what do you think about the name of the band, hahaha, Ensalada Huertana 😂
Very clever and funny name, actually. Haha, but in order to really appreciate it, you definitely should understand and dominate super well the spanish language. But yeah, it is cool. Hope to see you passing by in a few hours. I'll be posting on Q-inspired. Hugs and Kisses, darling.
Well, it's a bit late already here but I will be back tomorrow 👋 looking forward to seeing your post 😎
YeS, I know. I'm aware of that. But, once again thanks for the feedback here. Have a great night. Sleep well!
What about you, is it not singing with them, it seems that it will be very interesting😅
Oh yes, I want to register my account si 3speak and poshtoken, but I don't know how, is there a tutorial for that😁🙏
Honestly, I've tried it repeatedly but still don't understand at all how to sign up for it
Hey @roronoa46
Seems that am I your hive tutor for everything! ahahha just kidding, it's better to ask than to go around lost. Try maybe to see here about 3speak.
About poshtoken, you will have to search by yourself, as I don't use it. I am sure you will find it :)
And no, I am not singing with them, I was just on the other side of the scene this time 😅
Thank you very much ma'am, I will try my best
Yes, I would like to see you sing, it must be a lot of fun😊
Singing would be a bit difficult to come from my blog :D
I just play the piano, but my singing is happening just when no one is around - ie just if I am alone :)🎶
😅😅
Just like me, the bathroom is my best place to sing😁
my best place for that is the car - when I drive alone :)
😅😅
Yes it is also the best place, we just close the windows tightly so that people can't hear our golden voice😁
Garden Salad haha. This is a great name for a band.
Too bad about the shoes but I see you managed. Go the bohemian route, I don't wear shoes because they're built into my hooves.
You've peaked my interested with organic trance music if I being honest. This looks like a happening spot.
Yeah, Garden Salad would be the translation :D
They write those songs about eco things, nature, self-improvement etc. A bit of everything, so a salad indeed hahaha
Organic trance music. I went home earlier, but an acquaintance (the mom of a student of mine) wrote me a message the next day and mentioned that she had attended that performance and that it was very good. Huh, not the info I needed lol as then I was sorry I missed it :D
Awesome....it's always good to live in the moment always. Enjoy new things, and are you going to fix your broken shoe or just going to let it go? Can tell you had fun on that day😉
No, I think I will not fix it. I did like them but it's time to say goodbye to them ;)
And yes, I had fun 😃
I feel like the vibe of this concert called to you even when you were at home, so much so that you even went alone. Usually when we are without friends or family we are more introverted, but you had a real connection with your surroundings and it shows in the way you describe that evening surrounded by people you didn't know.
Even your broken shoe didn't stop you from being a participant. Music definitely has power, especially when the message is to vibrate loudly. I'm very glad you liked it so much and I hope you can repeat it, even with friends or family, although it's already clear that when you vibrate high you don't need anyone else at that moment, but yourself. A hug Mrs. Mipiano!...
Actually, you are right, about that call being still at home - but for the first day! It was Saturday morning, and we were thinking about what to do and where to go to spend the day, and in all that thinking and planning I remembered somehow to check when this fair will be held. And what a surprise - it was exactly that weekend! So we didn't go on any excursion but visited this event. On the second day, I went alone. We can have different interests than our family and it is absolutely ok to do those activities by ourselves :D Hahah, and yes, especially when we vibe high :D
Thanks a lot for stopping by @jesuslnrs, I hope this music and little story brought you a bit of fun and of course, vibes 😇
Yes! YESSS!!!... I AGREE :) :) :) :)
That's why tomorrow mory, I'm going to run straight to my local music conservatory, and yell that late scriabin is utterly atrocious!
Lol, that oughta get their blood boiling for the morning XD
Referring to this piece btw:
Also the festival, looks like you had a nice solo adventure indeed. Lol Mr Mi really did miss out.
As for me I don't think I would've enjoyed it quite as much. Way too many people °_°
wow, Horowitz, hahaha, what an ending, he was funny haha. With what an ease he plays it (although he says it is difficult - which is)
So, you will go and yell that there in your local conservatory? :D
Will be waiting for the reactions you got :)
Way too many people for you? I know why you play the piano and not the violin or the flute.. you would not like to play in a huge orchestra... you are choosing the piano, as it's just we and the piano and we already can have fun :D
Lol, nah... I was just clowning. I like my legs the way they are - not broken °_°
And exactly! You nailed it! I rather much prefer the intimacy of my own piano playing, than perform for a large audience.
Much like Chopin, I often like to sit my friends in a very dark and depressing room, forcing them to listen to me play the piano. XD
It's fun to think how long it seems when minutes are used instead of hours. Anyway, I kinda like the vibe that the songs gives. Though I don't understand it, the tune somehow resonates in mind. About the broken shoes, they may have been broken but I know it took you to a lot of fun adventures and memories that last. Overall, despite being alone on one particular time, you seemed to have enjoyed it.
The broken shoe didn't give me any sad feeling. I was not bothered at all, it was just funny, why it happened there while dancing. Anyway, it was a lot better to feel the grass, the soil... more freedom :)
Time is relative, as it is sometimes said. So the same time we can feel as just one week, or seven days, or so many hours or a lot of minutes ;) but it was just me having a bit of blah blah hahah, writing it as minutes 😅
I actually like that you used minutes. If I were on the same boat and had really enjoyed it, a few hours may seem short only. But like what you did, the larger figures that represent the minutes you've spent on something enjoyable seemed to have influence a more awesome experience, and make it look like longer, even if it's just the same in reality.
Sounds like a super nice adventure you went on, all by yourself? Or did I read between the lines you had your little one with you? The 'big' one, well, not his kind of thing. Not your problem. He is missing out ;)
Why weird music? Yea, agree, listening to the vid, it's not my music as well. Why weird dancing? Was it kind of free dancing with lots of arms and leg movements in a none rhythmic manner?
I remember the days I went out and about on my own, the best way of meeting some nice peeps, and collected some friends by doing so. Also, the best way to experience new things, without distractions, and 100% control over all the minutes of such an adventure :)
Yes, alone. The little one was on his own at another place, but I did pick him up in the mini pause. And if I would repeat this day, I would do it again on my own, because of all the benefits you also mentioned.
But to tell you, I had to laugh out while reading that "little" one 😂 . Strange to call him like that, when he is already so much taller than me :D
The music, I think I didn't say it was weird, I said they (the people on the scene) were weird and the name of the band :D You see the artist in a blue long dress? heheh, for me it was at the same time cool but also a bit unusual :) The music is just not something I would listen to it every day, but it had its strong power there. It made me get out of my comfort zone for sure. And the dancing was not weird either (where did I write that? I am trying to find that?) It was free in terms of no learned steps, no dancing partner or someone you know from before, and no rules but it was in accordance with the rhythm ;) But if you mention arms - oh yes, especially when the music evoked wind or other natural elements, the arms moved as trees waved by the wind, or waves on the water surface etc. Much fun! :D
Weird: So true, you only mentioned a weird group of peeps on stage and the name as well. My bad, sry :) Now I noticed the guy in this blue dress indeed. To be honest, I wasn't triggered by the clothes at all. You wouldn't believe all I have seen and experienced in the past at afterparties at peeps homes, in some clubs I went to and at the hippie festivals. I suppose am already quite adjusted to 'weird' peeps and/or unusual clothes. Sometimes I try and wear 'weird' clothes as well/ Never a dress as far as I remember. But a jellaba with black and silver and all, yes. In combination with one of my hats, some strangers told me I could be the festival judge 😂😂😂
Laughing: Glad I made you laugh. Sooooo important to laugh as much as possible {reminder to self: laugh more}
hahaha, who knows then 😂
Would be cool to see you in that jellaba + hat outfit, but of course, being also a festival judge 😂
copying for you your self-reminder, to read it once again 😇
😂
🎩
So much life and joy! :)
Who could resist a boogie. ❤️
Life is joy :)
and here some more joy was added hehe 😍
I can just imagine how much fun this was! Dancing with strangers is something I might just enjoy! I found the artist's sways quite funny 😂 but that looks like a good piece anyway.
It was! Hahaha the musicians were funny, but they did know how to transmit some good vibes, regardless of how did they play or improvise. 😃
Hope you can enjoy some meeting-dancing with strangers soon :))
If there is a performance appear this way in my area, I would definitely enjoy with them like clapping the hands or sing out loud dear, funny at the same time. Love how you always bring us with a new interesting content. I really enjoy it.
I am also sure that you would enjoy it :) It was a great, inspiring day!
Thanks for your words, I am glad you see it interesting 😇
behaving young and joyous is rejuvenating .... sounds like it was really ...social.
At my age I for sure need rejuvenation 😉
Experiencing this kind of thing in live is just so entertaining than virtually actually. I experienced it a long time ago when we ate at a restaurant and since then I'm longing to see one.
Sometimes this one has a partner of comedy and that's what it makes fun.
Live events are always more interesting and powerful :)) more real 😉
Hope you will have an opportunity to experience it again.
That's for sure when time permits it.😊
It's like the beat of reggae songs.. I kind've like the music ,🙂
Then you would deffinitely enjoy this afternoon here 😇
Wow. That's a wonderful experience. I would be elated to join witness a band's performance.
I also think you would like it. It is always different when we listen to live music and have some people around that react positively and with vibes ;)
