Its First Sunday and second day of the month already Who else noticed that this past January has been the fastest January ever it couldn't even wait to enter the month of February the Love Month as everyone says in fact let's not even say month rather it is The Love Day because it's just one day that everyone is looking forward to Almost everyone in a relationship is already imagining the kind of gift they will receive from their partner Some who can't deal with the world of imagination are already questioning themselves a lot of what is she planning to gift me Where is he taking me to are my his true love are my the only one in his or her life Some people will even enter depression before the deal day because of too many expectations Those not in a relationship will even imagine the worst some will be so angry at themselves for been single as if it's a disease hahahha

Funny enough a lot of lovely serious relationship might scatter before or after that day some single person will find love
Some not serious relationship will become serious all for just one day
Then here comes my question Why should we allow just one day to determine our love life why should we allow just one day to destroy a relationship of 10 years why do we believe that a love found on that day is very special Don't you think this Valentine's Day is too overrated because for me its not really a Love Day will call it a Lost Day

I was scrolling through my YouTube channel when I came around this song LOVE STORY BY TAYLOR SWIFT
Listening to it made me understand that Love is not just a one day thing your act of showing love to others shouldn't be tied to a particular date of the year and you shouldn't let one day ruin the sweet relationship you have with your partner or friends To me I believe that love should be our everyday story it should be something we do everyday without expecting anything in return try to appreciate your partner at every opportunity you get let people know how much the mean to you on a daily with that there will less expectation for one day
From the song you can see the sacrifice the both went through just to be together against all odds
At the end what seems not to be working walked into a marriage proposal to me that's what love is SACRIFICE it's an everyday commitment you fight for it believe in it and hold on to it

Do you want to know the reason I call Valentine's day a Lost Day well that because a lot of things seems to get lost on this particular Day
Friendships Relationship Life Trust even Virginity name it some also lose their peace of mind all in one day and after that day what next Regrets Pain Angry Fear for people who must have done one or two just to prove their love and then face the consequences of unexpected pregnancy some infections
A lot of ladies has gone missing from valentine's day back then in secondary school my Principal’s wife went to Val with her secret boyfriend and never returned seven day after she was found floating on a river dead you see why I call it a Lost Day

If only we can cultivate the habit of loving everyday and not just Channelling the energy in one day then we can experience what true love really means only if we can make Showing Love an everyday Story to share all the time not a one month event or even a one day activity Everyday try to show love to everyone around you with both your time gifts care prayers and then we can make everyday a special day
