Liam is a musician lost in the hustle and bustle of the city. As a street musician known only for his unique skills, he plays alone, beautiful melodies flowing clearly in a very empty feeling. Every note of his guitar speaks of a long journey where loss, hope, and the search for the meaning of life are routine.

Liam is not an ordinary busker. In his previous life, he was part of a famous band in the small town where he grew up. However, a split caused by ego and ambition made him leave the band and start a new life as a street musician. Along the way, he not only lost his job, but also his friends.

Old songs bring back bitter memories every time he plays them. He remembers the glorious moments on stage, greeted by the applause of the audience, which have now been replaced by ghosts that just pass by. His existence seems full of loneliness, and the songs he plays are filled with sadness.

As time goes by, Liam finds himself increasingly isolated from the world around him. People pass by him, but no one sees him. One night, as he played ballads in the pouring rain, the coldness of loneliness began to penetrate his soul. Can anyone hear the screams of his heart, buried in the songs he wrote.

Desperately searching for meaning, Liam began writing new songs in an attempt to crystallize his pain into words. But every time he wrote, his tears flowed uncontrollably. It seemed that there was no second chance for him in this world: his sadness seemed limitless.

One day, a middle-aged man and former musician approached him. They chatted, and the man gave him wise advice: “Don’t let your sadness dictate you. Music is medicine for the soul.” However, Liam was still trapped in the shadow of history, not far behind the doubts among wisdom.

And the sweet memories with his band deepened the wound as time went by. He used to look through their old photos, and every time he did, his heart broke. He missed the laughter with his friends, now in the past.

One night, after playing on a street corner, bad news came: one of the band members had died, his best friend. Liam felt his world collapse. His mind was filled with guilt, “Was there nothing he could have done to save her?” He now had a heart burdened with fond memories.

Liam, devastated by the news, sobbed on the sidewalk with his guitar splayed across his lap. All he had left was the urge to write a song in memory of his friend, a song of loss and regret. In every lyric, he dreamed of turning pain into peace.

As the days passed, Liam remained trapped in his grief. He became a ghost in a world that no longer seemed to want him. As the days grew dark, he played under the streetlights, singing more somber songs. The songs that had once been joyful were now filled with deep sadness.

Because in that moment, Liam understood that he was not alone in his grief. He began to play more often for those he had lost, giving voice to the voiceless. His music served as a reminder that grief does not divide us, but rather connects us.

One night, standing under the streetlights, he felt a strong urge to let go of all his pain. It was December 2024, the same month he began writing the song that would finally set him free. The words flowed like the heartbreak he’d held inside for years.

He sang it on the sidewalk, hoping it would mean something to anyone who heard it. And as his grief turned into a powerful force, he rose with renewed vigor. People began to come to him, some encouraging him. They also showed him that despite his struggles in life, he was not alone.

Little by little, Liam was able to rise above the pain of his past. He discovered that the essence of life lies between sadness and hope, the journey of two people together; that every song has its own tune to sing.

But one day, as he stood on the edge of a cliff overlooking the ocean, the wind blowing in his hair, the scent of salt and freedom in the air, his phone vibrated.

The screen lit up with a message:

“We found him. He’s alive.”

In an instant, the past he thought buried resurfaced, sharper and more complex than ever.

That's a pitiful life for Liam.
This is applicable to our individual life too as we mingle with friends. When we go our separate ways, those memories remain in our head forever

Indeed, as we go through life, relationships and shared moments often leave traces even when our paths diverge. The memories we create become treasures in our hearts, shaping us and staying with us even when those people are gone. Thank you!
