RE: I am leaving piano for oboe.... It can't be true!

Before I started playing the guitar, I had a foundation Idea of the keyboard. In fact, I wanted to be a keyboardist but my passion went to the guitar instead. I fell in love with the bass guitar but my hands were not strong enough to hold the bass strings, so I ran to the acoustic guitar where I started with chords then I wanted more. That’s how I became the lead guitarist that I am today.

This is a nice story how you get to your passion, electric guitar. Yes, when the hands are small, young and with not enough strength, it is more challenging, but it is great that you at the end managed to your loved instrument !! Thanks you @starstrings01 for your story shared here, and if you feel the call for this challenge, you are welcome to join. It has no deadline ;)

When would I see a video of you play the oboe by the way. The one here is a picture of you only holding the instrument.

Oh, I am sorry, I gave back the oboe to its owner, indeed, and actually, I was so scared not to damage the reed so I just had it in my hand for the photo.
A short story: as a student, I played in a chamber group, I with the piano, an oboist girl, and one clarinetist. Before one concert, we were in the waiting room, having fun and somehow I hit accidentally my oboist friend's instrument and the reed broke;(((( I was so sorry

Now, I have special care how to treat the oboe ;) Just take it for the photo and that's it ;)
