YO...its nice sharing my thoughts in here and what does the topic really means and how does it have a connection to music. Here is it. The sound track of my life from a truly musical perspective. I want to explain how music have a connection with our memories and emotions. When we were small there are some melody, harmony, rhythm, tempo, timber, dynamics and musical textures we have in our brain that we can't let go,when ever we hear it we would remember a senero that happened that trigger that sound or music.

HOW MUSIC CREATES A SOUNDTRACK
1.) PERSONAL CONNECTION : the Soundtrack of my life happens base on the situation I was some years back when I was small I love playing football so there was this song that I love listening to during the fifa World Cup On April 26, 2010.. Titled Waka Waka (This Time for Africa). i really love this song that year but after some years passed I forgot it so during 2021 I went for a football competition and the song was played then I remember the situation I was back then in the year 2010.
2.) EMOTIONAL RESONANCE: music has the power to awake emotions. And talking about emotion, when emotion is awaken then it turns to memory and music actually build love and love leads to emotion. Using my self as an example. I was in a relationship with a girl and she lives titans beauty songs, just because of love I started listening to it and she loves me more when she hear me sing. After years passed we broke up but that memory hasn't left me. That's what we call Soundtrack
3.) ASSOCIATIVE LEARNING : this have helped me out alot of times, In what sense? I do love to play music most time so if I forget something and I play song I was playing by that moment I will remember what happen. Our brain form strong bond between music and event, places and emotions. The memory of a song played during a significant moment. The memory of that moment is often vividly recalled.

I agree with you 💯, especially on that of personal connection.
I think it happens to everyone because there are some songs that will make our grandparents talk about their childhood or teenage years.
Serious I know right.... Those memories will always be in our heart
