Nice One but I want to ask a question, did you say humans made Yahweh the only true God? Or is he the only true God.

I like the emphasis you made about the flood of Noah's day and it's benefits of taking a way the nephlims

I donยดt say anything I suggest. These things all happened way too long ago to find any proof. So I am putting together what I find and consider options.

Now your question:
If I look around the world and see that many religions had a council of Gods.
If I see that there are references in the Bible to more than one God.
If I see that Yahweh was the God of Isreal and became the One True God
If I say he asked not to worship other Gods

My suggestion is that there were other Gods, and as a Jealous God he tried to overpower them.
Now to the point of humans, in short Yes. Yes I think that humans allowed Yahweh to become the so-called one true God.

They had benefits by having a strict Mono God religion, it would help them shape the new culture and dominate. One power in heaven one power on earth gives kings, and emperors more power. A council of Gods sounds way to democratic and would not benefit certain leaders.

If you mix that up with altering history by hiding, rewriting, abandoning certain things, and integrating others to enforce your narrative you over time create a whole new narrative.

This is done by humans today and centuries ago. Those in power can adjust what those not in power get to see and hear. Think about mainstream media today.

So yes humans paved the way to a one-god civilization to benefit those in power and due to history going a certain way the believe in One God grew into what we see today.

Let me know if I am not making sense, and I don't hold the one truth I look at facts and think about them. But this was great getting a question and making me think more I think you might have even inspired me for a new post.

How Yahweh the Jealous god of Sireal could become the one true Christian God we know today.
