By now you know that I am not talking about a maritime navigation ship. I am talking about a very interesting musical project. This time, the concert was divided into three periods, each one of great emotion. I'll tell you about it.
We arrived almost an hour early, so we had the privilege of greeting the musicians and photographing them, seeing the instruments arranged in the small hall that gave elegance and brightness. I was accompanied by my friend Luciano Lorenzo, musician, guitarist, piano tuner, performance teacher and poet.
One of the boys who plays the saxophone, admired as a wise musician, sat down to talk to him like two old friends and paid him respect and affection. What a good boy in his music and his human values. How happy to see my friend Luciano smiling.
In the hall there is also an exhibition of paintings, engravings and drawings by the artist Iván Morales, entitled "Plural". So we prepare our eyes and hearts to enjoy the art. I will tell you all about it in detail.
The concert began with a two-handed presentation by Dr. Irina and the writer Lorenzo Suarez, who welcomed the artists. Beautiful words, poems and the hall was ready to start the concert. Ricardo Jorge Perez had the floor and began to lead the concert.
A young boy, Arian Gounelas Pulido, bowed to the audience and sat down at the piano. He played three pieces: Canciones sin palabras by Félix Meldenssohn, Crepúsculo by Félix Guerrero and La Nené by Manuel Saumell. Then Crucero came in presenting wonderful works. The maestro and composer of the works on the program spoke briefly about the project and the background of its members.
We immediately listened to the piece that caused me the most joy, of course, because of the closeness I have with its theme. The title: "Punto cubano de la suite Roldán". Thanks to the children César Alonso Pino (lute), Thalia A. Álvarez (tres) and Armando M. Moreira Valdés (guitar).
Then another four songs were played by young Janni García Ramos (cello) and saxophonists Hélder Ernesto López Pérez and Aldo Daniel Hidalgo Ruiz. The audience applauded gratefully for the works performed. The boys returned smiles and bows to the audience.
The main artist of the concert, international pianist Franco Rivero Bueno, performed ten pieces. We were able to listen to the masterful interpretation of works by him, Ernesto Lecuona and other authors. Almost two hours of concert passed without realizing it.
At the end there were flowers for the artists, applause and a toast where artists and public mingled in a pleasant conversation. This cruise took us on a wonderful journey, for the next trip I invite you. The Amauta house will be proud to welcome you. You can find their proposals on the site amautacentrocultural.es
