You should also get a meshtastic device. Anything lilygo is incredibly fun especially a tdeck offline blackber
Theres all sorts of things to use esp32 for and they are so much cheaper than a raspberry pi

So I mean it's just on the seeedstudio store you'll see SO many little devices under 50 bucks that can do so many cool things like SENSECAP it has meshtastic lora & gps/GRSS (all position satellites not just american like most new phones have which is interesting, check sat app

These things are so easy to setup and use and I'm sire we can use tjem with hive if we come up with new ways to integrate hive chain to meshtastic ...
Now you dont need to use meshtastic LORA long range radio with an esp32, it even has little 3 dollar gps/glonass/Galileo/chinasat
