Aren't we losing money when using it? If the rewards will be split to 50/50 to you and dustsweeper, then that means you just gave 50% to dustsweeper, is it right? I am confused.

Depends on how low are the upvotes you receive before it on your comment.

If they're close to $0.02 you're gaining more 'cause supposedly you wouldn't earn them at all if they didn't reach the threshold. If they're close to $0.001 you technically lose.

That's how I understood it.
