I'll probably choose "for privacy."
I actually don't mind Big Tech. They only become a problem if you stray too far from the group think. Most people won't be like that by definition.
I just want alternatives in case Big Tech kept abusing their power. Also, mistakes happen!

Agreed. But what's scary is how so many big tech platforms are in cahoots with one another. That's where it gets dangerous. If you get removed from Twitter. Get ready to be kicked off Facebook, Instagram, etc... This is where they go above and beyond terms and conditions... scary
