RE: I might be wrong but isn't it possible to have a hive "reward" halving ...

Looked up for it a bit and didn't find an answer to your question... As far as I know there's no halving in HIVE but I didn't find a source to fact-check.

Posted via D.BuzzIn my tiny research I got this link: https://leopedia.io/hive/#hive-rewards-pool may answer some other questions about Hive.

Thank you for the link ... I read that only a small portion of the rewards pool goes to helping the priceof hive.... But I am actually thinking about the halving of the rewards in every 5 years or so In hive ... Do you think it would be possible to implement this!!??

I think it will be possible to implement, but I think it's unnecessary for HIVE... It works for BTC because of its POW reward system. In case of HIVE the more people use the blockchain the more deflated it will feel even without changine the inflation ratio...

Still, I don't know if there's a halving or another anti-inflation system set for HIVE price, I'm just saying why I think it's unnecessary and I might be wrong.
