There are many exceptions, but generally that's how I saw iPhone vs Android thing here in Libya. Only people who can afford extra have iPhones, or those who really need one exclusive functionality.

If you can use an iPhone, because you can skip some worries you might have using an Android.
I have my assumptions, but worries like what?
(I do like to have an iPad for art eventually, I hear it's much better for art than any Non-Galaxy-S8 android phone.)

Maybe I'm too deep in IT and my experience with Android is old, but the quality of Android version of other manufactures besides Google are pretty horrifying.
Samsung's is actually good, I tried both their A-series phones and Galaxy Tab S6Lite, but I can't say anything about other manufacturers, because I know for sure that Chinese stuff has bad quality.
