I watched the video and he was talking about a VPN over TOR, I also think the same because TOR network is already encrypted. But a paid VPN is very useful to protect your privacy and mock censorship.

My main reason to use VPNs is to avoid Region blocking... It's funny that you don't need to make seperate accounts for things like Netflix. Just switch the region. Wonder if there's a reason they still allow this to work.
