Posted via D.BuzzI'm guessing this is phishing? @keys-defender

Thx @chrisrice. I think it's just spam - cc: @hivewatchers @steemflagrewards

PS. yeah, I haven't found any clue that leads me to think they're trying to steal keys/passwords.

No, it's just a typical dBuzz account. There have been dozens like this spamming and farming Hive Ecosystem through dBuzz on @chrisrice watch and approval.

Ah okay, yeah I didn't know since a lot of the phishing that's been going on lately include offers of free BTC/crypto.

Btw, I am interested in giving users tools to censor what THEY

Posted via D.Buzz don't want to see, amd it contrasts with @hivewatchers

It is not a phishing site unless it clearly imitates any other (popular) website. 🤨

Anyway, I saw that the original post had 12 votes, all of which are downvotes. 😮

Ah okay, thanks for letting me know.

  • But it could lead to a login such as HiveSigner.

I was too afraid to click though 😮

You might want to use a private window (preferably on Brave Browser) to minimize the chances they can access your private keys. 🤔 If you want maximum security in this case in testing out suspicious links, you should use Tor Browser. 🕵️‍♂️

Ah okay, what makes testing a link in Tor Browser more secure?

  1. Your real IP address won't be recorded.
  2. Malware will find it even more difficult to sneak into your device from the website you are visiting (especially if you set the Security Level to "Safer" or "Safest").
  3. Your browsing session is separate from your primary web browser, which has many security advantages.

🕵️‍♂️🤓
