When I was a child, no one told me that believing or doing anything in that list was an insult or sin to God. ( Full list here ) When I was older, I only found out about it briefly but I didn't understand it or pay attention to it, because I wasn't religious before. Hopefully you don't take it lightly when you read this.
👉 How to be free from these MORTAL sins?
Look for an Examination of Conscience (pagsusuri ng budhi) online, there are many of them even on FB. Read that, make a list and also how many times each sin was done then repent and confess your sins at the nearest church ASAP. You won't even regret doing that. You will actually be relieved! Don't you want to feel good? 😆 #confession
Anyway just read below, I only saw this posted by someone but at least you can see the Bible verses. And then read the writings of St. Ignatius of Loyola or St. Francis de Sales for discernment of spirits.
The Catholic Church still clandestinely supports and even teaches many of these practices. Of all the Christian churches, they are the ones clinging the most to old occult traditions.
Today is Gaudete Sunday, 3rd Sunday of Advent with the theme of Joy. It means we are to rejoice for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
How do we have joy in our lives? When we are grateful of the blessings we receive. A grateful heart is a joyful heart. May you and your family have a great Sunday. God bless your spiritual journey. 🙏
