I'm not sure how feasible it is to ban crypto, of course they can make it illegal but it is very difficult to track who uses Crypto. It would likely stifle its growth a little but in the long run Crypto can't really be stopped.

That is exactly what i thought, I'm also sure that a ban would likely create a black market and genuine investors would backdown which in my opinion is a loss for the nations growth that was already struck by this pandemic.
