Should I rent or buy cards for #splinterlands ? And which cards? I am tired of losing all the time :(

Rent cards to find some you like and go from there. One of my favorite single cards to use with the starter deck is Venari Wavesmith currently it is about $6.60 to buy or 1.5 DEC a day to rent.
I will look into that card. Any other cards you would suggest?
This is the list of my Fav monsters to use with a water team with current prices per card/day. Use PeakMonsters to rent, its much easyer than in game.

Which league are you in? How long have you been playing?
Renting cards, in my opinion, is a necessary thing as long as your DEC earnings are at least enough to pay for the rental investment.
I am a german native speaker.
Right now I am so bad at this game I barely make 1 DEC a day.
I speak Portuguese, not English. 😁 a translator helps me.
Anyway, in the bronze league, without rents, I focus on the water team, spineback turtle, medusa, ice pixie, enchanted pixie, elven mystic and, if possible within the mana cap, water elemental.
Having done some DEC for rent I like to use mylor (earth summoner) and minotaur warlord.

Is renting better than buying in bronze?
I bought a card and resold it, for now I haven't bought any more, they are too expensive, I only rented them to accumulate DECs in the beginning, after I got more experience I rented others to gain POWER and move up leagues.

There are a lot of giveaways for Splinterlands cards. You should see if you can win a few cards. That might help your luck.
Joining giveaways for #Splinterlands cards is a good suggestion, but I don't think that joining (and even winning) those giveaways would help give a noticeable increase in win rate. 🤔 I think that people should recommend Cards to Purchase or Rent instead. 🤓
