I resigned from D.Buzz in March / April of 2024 and have not seen much ...

Have not read any news about developments or status.

Not sure of the plans of @dbuzz or @nathansenn as there has not been much published.

Hey Chris, I'm a bit shocked you out of DBuzz as you seemed super committed to it. Having you go MIA was pretty surprising and as a user I'm a bit disappointed that dbuzz development has experienced a big halt. I was just discussing some bug features to the platform a few days ago on the DBuzz Dev channel at chat.d.buzz
Hope the platform can survive

We all hope DBuzz can survive. It has been my fave posting dApp and helped me and many others baby-step our way onto Web3.

I'm interested in seeing the project survive too, and I'm waiting on the sidelines to see what happens.

If I'm able to, I'm interested in making up for my prior departure.

Not sure if I will be able to but it is something I think about.

It's about to go bye-bye. Now's the time to step in if you have interest. If it's open sourced it would be good for it to continue in any way possible. Talk to @agorise. It would be a real shame for DBuzz to not exist. Especially as it is an easy onboarding for folks new to the concept of Web3 and blockchain-based social media.

Yes, I am not in contact with the DBuzz team as of now.

If @agorise is interested in spinning up a fork I can donate http://microblog.app if it's @kencode that leads it.

I'm not in a position to step in right now as I still need to clear out some confusion in the mind, working on The Path to Enlightenment right now.

That would be amazing. Even better to get domain so it can continue.

@epodcaster @jza,

Called @nathansenn and he thinks it's a good idea to have @kencode lead D.Buzz.

I'll be completely out of the equation as I surrendered my stake for the betterment of the project.

Let's see if this can get resolved, thank you everyone.

I'm personally so paranoid as In quite defensive of my timeline. I would hate to lose the history of my posts, so when I hear 'fork', I take it the worst way

Yeah, already talked to @nathansenn, he's interested in @kencode leading d.buzz . . Ken would only do it if funded given that he's a software developer by trade.

I'm interested in that happening and it would be new Manangement, I no longer have any official affiliation with dbuzz

Hi @jza,

I apologize for my abrupt departure.

It was actually due to health reasons related to over fatigue and over exerting the mind.

I have a heart for HIVE and I appreciate the opportunity I had to lead d.buzz.

If it makes sense and is best I may come back to build on Hive again, but I would need to first straighten everything in my mind first, and it would be at a much smaller scale, thankfully d.buzz is Open Source on an unrestricted license.

I did not think this would happen but now I need to dedicate most of my time to thinking clearing, cultivating wisdom and making better decisions.

I had thought d.buzz could also stand without me, and I wish it would have stood better than it has.

P.S. I remember you saying you'd consider software development again. Are there projects you are considering yet?

Not really, I'm retired, I don't have to do this, but that doesn't mean I'm not a user and promoter of Web3 tech and DBuzz has been a big part of it, even before I met you.

I didn't foresee this drama to happen and it's a bit sad that it has. I think projects should have an operation plan and redundancy as well as a sustainable business model, wherever is freemium, user vs corporate services or advertising.

But they need to have and hire the tools to make the company competitive and not just base the operation and continuity off grants and donations.

Just like v4v, liketu, splinterlands and all the other hive assets are important to me and want to see them succeed. I'm open to talk to devs, report some bugs, and do some UX discussions in my free time. But development is something that will take real time and can't do it for free, at least right now. I don't even have a laptop.

But I'm sure the Philippines has a lot of good developers at least good enough in javascript bugs and API management of data.

.

May I ask why you're posting about it now first rather than back then? The lack of activity from yourself may have painted dbuzz in a darker light than maybe needed to be.

Starkerz had mentioned the same thing while I was leading D.Buzz (towards the end).

At the time when I was leading D.Buzz I thought the developments we were doing were obvious, Starkerz said it wasn't so.

I'm wondering if there are major developments with DBuzz I don't know about so yes, I can see your point and Starkerz point.

Thank you, @acidyo.

2/2 Anyway as written you could raise funds on republic ex seedrs, you could raise up to 13 million pounds. And we would have shares in the company, or there is also the token function. https://europe.republic.com/

Hi @briatti

I don't see your original comment, just this one.

I'm not ready to build anything again yet but I'm interested in possibly starting in 2026.

Have you considered working something out with @nathansenn for https://d.buzz?

1/2 Unfortunately, I can't remember now what I wrote. Unfortunately there was disservice so it was lost. Anyway for the app I use hivekeychain, to write on d.buzz sometimes. However being decentralized it shouldn't happen that it doesn't work.

2/2 @chrisrice I hope they improve from being the competitor of X. You could create instagram decentralized, there is decentralized mail decentralized chats, etc, instagram is missing. However to raise funds they could use europe.republic. Good luck with the new project.
