It's a weird little show from the early 90s wherein a Columbia M.D. is contractually obligated to practice in a small town in Alaska. It starts as standard fish-out-of-water fare, then evolves with these philosophical, metaphysical elements later. Really just fantastic.
I read forever ago that the creator didn't want to change the music for streaming. Surely there are more issues than that, but that dude is really against changing the music.

There's something with the rights, though, to where you can't stream it anywhere. So unless you have the DVDs, it's pretty hard to find legally.
