RE: If few whales have control then not really decentralized ...

The one thing I don't agree with is that $HIVE will go to $0.

It may go down first, but I suspect it will have a strong bull run in this next coming cycle.

Building and improving around $HIVE will be the only way. It is the only thing that keeping it strong and alive. Steemit became stagnant and coin with down and only hovering because of controlled inflation.

Blurt a fork of hive w/ no downvotes is a good idea but no development. Scaring new investors. Just old users draining the pool when filled. If $HIVE keep on building the distribution of coins will not be only a few whales. Accounts owned by exchanges are different story.

Aside from not having development, $BLURT lacks liquidity, and has a low market cap.

By the way, Jerry Banfield (the guy on the video) used to be big supporter and user of steemit. Until few whales did not agree the way he ran things like charging for account creation and having a ghost writer. He got pushed out i reckon.

Yes, I am familiar with some of his prior work.

One of his Hive Proposals was a bit sketchy, and I think that may have led to his biggest loss in reputation.

I did not know he was one of the first people to charge for accounts.
