It's only his opinion though, but I find myself agreeing with it.
I don't like when people outside Libya speak as if they're inside the country. (The man speaking is in Turkey.)

Ah okay, yes, it would be his opinion.
It does give some insight though, that at least sometimes in different regions of the world, tensions end based on a phone call, not on humanitarian grounds.

Yeah, I actually think most fights don't end on humanitarian grounds. If they would end on reasons this noble, they wouldn't have started in the first place.
